It's our friend Sarah's birthday today, but last Saturday, we felt like the special ones!
Sarah and her husband Tom wanted to share their celebratory meal, so we all went to Il Gatto Nero in Italy, on top of a mountain overlooking Como Lake. It's an amazing restaurant with incredible views. It's also George Clooney's favorite when he's in town, so we decided to step it up and get "suited and booted" (English people are so funny). They rented a car, picked us up, and off we went through many a hairpin turn up the mountain.
We had an amazing meal, great wine, and an all around fantastic time. Here we are after dinner... all smiles and wanting to capture the moment.
In Switzerland especially, we know the power of a good meal with friends. And considering this was a GREAT meal, the night couldn't have been better.
